Can we choose the location for the session?
A.Absolutely! I have a list of favourite outdoor locations, or you can suggest a place that is special to your family.
What should we wear for the family photoshoot?
A.Coordinate outfits with complimentary colours, avoiding logos or busy patterns. Neutral tones often work well for timeless photos. Once you're booked, you'll receive an outfit guide.
How long will the photoshoot last?
A.Sessions typically last between 45 minutes - 1.5 hours, depending on the type of session and the number of people involved.
Can we include extended family members in the shoot?
A.Absolutely! I offer extended family sessions that include grandparents, aunts/uncles and cousins.
What time of day is best for outdoor family photos?
A.The best times are during the "golden hour," which is the hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset for soft, flattering light.
Do you offer prints?
A.Yes, I offer a variety of high-quality print products, including albums, wall art, and more.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
A.I will deliver your proof gallery to you 2 weeks after your session date. Your final hand-edited high-resolution gallery will be with you 2 weeks after you have picked the images that you would like to keep. Your proof gallery will be open for 24 hours.
Do you offer help with posing during the session?
A.Yes! I’ll guide you with natural poses to help capture authentic family interactions.
What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor session?
A.If it's absolutely bucketing, we can reschedule for a better day.
How far in advance should we book our session?
A.It’s best to book your session 1-2 months in advance, especially during busy seasons like holidays.
Can we bring props or special items to the shoot?
A.Yes, feel free to bring any meaningful items like blankets, toys, or props that represent your family’s personality.
Do you offer newborn or maternity sessions as well?
A.Yes, I specialise in family, newborn, maternity, and couple photography to capture all stages of family life.
What is your payment process?
A.A session fee is required to secure your booking. You will then purchase your digital package once you receive your proof gallery. Any print purchases can be made when you receive your edited photos. Payment plans are not available.
How do we prepare our children for the photoshoot?
A.Let them know it will be fun, and bring snacks, toys, or anything that helps them feel comfortable.
What if my child doesn’t cooperate during the session?
A.Don’t worry! I’m experienced in working with children and will adapt the session to keep it fun and stress-free for everyone.
What happens if my children are unwell?
A.If you’re sick, we reschedule! I want you all happy, bright and well for our photoshoot. We will also reschedule if I am unwell.
Can we book a photoshoot on the weekend?
A.My availability is on weekdays, but many clients choose to leave work early or schedule time off to ensure they can enjoy their family photoshoot without rushing. Booking in advance is recommended to secure a time that fits your schedule.
