Hi, I’m Isabella. I’m a portrait and lifestyle photographer based in Darwin, where I’ve called home since 2008. I started Isabella Giffard Photography in 2020, but my love for storytelling through photos goes way back before that.

People often ask me the “life” questions, so here’s the quick rundown: I’m not married, but I do have a wonderful partner and a very cheeky Red Heeler cross who keeps life interesting (and my floors constantly needing a vacuum). Kids? Not yet, but I’ve grown up with lots of younger cousins, so wrangling little ones, rolling with the moods, and catching the giggles feels second nature to me.

My personality is a bit of a mix. I’ve got a Type A streak that keeps everything organised and running smoothly, but I balance that with a down-to-earth, relaxed approach so you can simply enjoy the experience. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’ll also step back to capture those unscripted, genuine moments that mean the most.

Outside of photography, I love soaking up the Top End lifestyle, exploring new places, and planning future travel sessions to bucket list locations. Whether it’s families, couples, pets, or personal branding, my goal is the same: to create photographs that feel true to you, and artwork that your family will treasure for generations.
